ABOUT

[E] Elias Wessel is committed to developing photographic concepts and procedures which culminate in abstract images and multidisciplinary practices that reflect contemporary discourses within society. The works function as both a contribution to the issues of societal and political development and the historical conversation between photography and painting. 

[D] Elias Wessel entwickelt fotografische Konzepte und Vorgehensweisen, welche in abstrakte Bilder und multidisziplinäre Projekte münden, die zeitgenössische gesellschaftliche Diskurse widerspiegeln. Seine Arbeiten sind sowohl ein Beitrag zu Fragen sozialer und politischer Entwicklung als auch zum historischen Dialog zwischen Fotografie und Malerei.
